Sports Jam

 

 

Sports Jam focuses on playing a different sport each week and having fun. Each week students will get to play a new game and enjoy the wide assortment of sports.

Sports vary from Basketball, flag football, wiffle ball and many more exciting sports.

 

 

This new and exciting program is waiting for you! 

 

Week 1: Basketball

Week 2: Kickball/Mat Ball

Week 3: Soccer

Week 4: Floor Hockey

Week 5: Wiffle Ball

Week 6: Sports Sorts

Week 7: Kids Choice

Soccer:
Learn the fundamentals and develop motor skills associated with the game of soccer
Passing, shooting, and dribbling are demonstrated and practiced
Organized and structured Scrimmages will be played

Basketball:
Demonstrate passing, shooting and dribbling; followed by a scrimmage with the participants split into teams!
Previous skills learned are encouraged to be used during scrimmages for an interactive, fast pace play!
Ball control is emphasized
Organized and structured game play will be utilized.

Tball:
Introduce baseball at a less competitive, more fun level
Teaching of catching, fielding, throwing and batting
Emphasis on skills training and base running/general game rules
Demonstration and practice of all skills

Organized and structured game play will be utilized.

Children will need to bring a glove

 

Floor Hockey:

Introduce the game of hockey

Teach proper passing and playing techniques

Structured game play

Kickball:
Teach and discuss rules of kickball
Practice and understand base running
Use kicking skills learned in soccer and catching skills learned in t ball
Followed by a non competitive, fun game of kickball with the children split into teams

 

Healthy U

Games and activities organized to keep the kids active entertained and engaged.
